I wrote about the Marx Brothers and DUCK SOUP….

here, at ZekeFilm.

Oh, laws, I’m so worn out from working on that post.  It was presented orally a year ago, and I forgot to footnote my presentation.  So when I was was asked to adapt it for the site, it required a better memory than mine to guard against unwittingly plagiarizing. But I think I think I’ve got it all sorted now.  Please go read it, because then my work will not have been in vain, and it will take you to Zekefilm (which is a great site run by great people), and Duck Soup always deserves the attention.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

I really enjoyed it. Lots of new info (for me) about old favorites.
I turned my so on to Duck Soup when he was 7 or 8 and it became a favorite of his. All these years later, it still is.

  2. Thanks, Bill! Yeah my own kids don’t always enjoy the classics like I do, but they all think “Duck Soup” is funny. Some things never go out of style. 🙂
