Is This the Worst Movie Trailer of All Time?

Maybe.  Or maybe just the worst Christian movie trailer of all time, but that qualifier may actually make things worse.  Believe me, I know from bad Christian movies.  I grew up watching Super Christian and Ordinary Guy in youth group, and have PTSD from an early childhood viewing of  A Thief in the Night.  What boggles my mind is that we haven’t gotten any better over the years.  Why, people, why?  For the love of all that is holy, just step away from the equipment until you’ve taken a film studies class or something!

Sigh.  Well, thanks to MPT at Jesus Needs New PR for sharing this bit of cinematic ipecac.
(By the by, is that Robert Culp’s unlucky brother in the opening scene?)

Aw, that’s not so bad. Its just low budget and super sincere. Reminds me a bit of my wife’s Nigerian movies she loves so much (only substitute polygamy controversy with worshiping style controversy).

Just heard this morning, “‘The Grace Card’ was such a great movie. Well, horribly made and the acting was bad, but such a great message.” Made me think of you.
