Yes, it was Moms’ Night Out tonight. How can one table full of respectable looking women be so loud? Every month it’s the same thing – we settle into the cafe’ area and within a few minutes the tables around us are abandoned. I’d like to feel guilty about how disruptive we are, but come on. We just need to cut loose once in a while. We are homeschoolers, after all. Some of us spend almost all of our waking hours, every day, with our children. If we can blow off steam without getting liquored up and smashing mailboxes, I’d say it’s a win for everyone involved. I, of course, I am never anything but quiet and dignified. That’s how I roll. But I love my boisterous homeschool friends and never miss a night with them.
So sorry, Borders customers. You are now safe until the fourth Tuesday of March.
